What is Cialis Professional?

Cialis Professional is an innovative drug for erectile dysfunction treatment. Its advantage over conventional Cialis lies in longer duration. As for effect force, it is the same as that in case of conventional tadalafil of the same dosage. The drug is released in tablet form. Each tablet is film coated.

Dosage

Cialis Professional is used 30 – 40 minutes before sexual intercourse. The best reception time is on an empty stomach. If a drug is taken on a full stomach or after drinking alcohol, suction time can be increased up to several hours. The duration of 1 tablet – up to 36 hours. It does not mean that there will be erection all that time. An erection is when sexual desire, and when it is over, the penis will return to relaxed state.

The drug can be administered daily, but not more than 1 tablet per day. Duration of active substance excretion is up to 48 hours.

Overdose

In case of overdose, standard symptomatic treatment is carried out. Cialis Professional almost does not appear in hemodialysis.

Side Effects

Contraindications

Despite the fact that specific studies were performed only with respect to interaction of tadalafil with ketoconazole and ritonavir, it can be assumed that such drugs as itraconazole, and erythromycin, can also increase tadalafil activity.

Rifampicin, which is an inducer of CYP3A, reducing exposure of drug’s single dose and amount of Cmax. It is the most likely simultaneous use of other drugs from a group of CYP3A inhibitors, which should help reduce tadalafil concentrations in plasma.

Tadalafil in combination with antacids (hydroxide Al / hydroxide Mg) reduces absorption rate of active drug substance without changing AUC.

Drugs that increase the rate of gastric acidity (pH), and in particular, nizatidine H2-blocker, does not affect tadalafil pharmacokinetic parameters.

Study relating to safety and efficacy in combination with other methods of erectile dysfunction treatment (including combination with other inhibitors of PDE-5) is not conducted, and therefore it is recommended to avoid such combinations.

Cialis Professional and Alcohol Intake

Cialis Professional in single alcohol consumption studies were conducted showing the negative results. These two substances have no effect to each other that’s why moderate alcohol dosages will not reduce the effect of the medication.

• Take one tablet orally 30 minutes prior sexual intercourse. If you take this drug after a high-fat meal, medication’s effect may be manifested a little bit slower.
